Client Results

My goal has always been and will always be to have a client who is happy with my representation at the end of the case. If I mislead a client in the beginning just to get them to hire me, and the results predictably fail to meet those false expectations, then my client will not be happy at the end. It is not worth the money to incur that type of headache. If you want an attorney who will tell you whatever you want to hear in the beginning, then I am probably not your man.

Below is a list of some of the results that I have obtained for my clients in the past 5 years. I have not included cases where the results, while favorable, would have most likely been the same whether I was hired or not. I have only included cases where I truly believe that I made a difference. And in some of those cases, I advised the client before they ever paid me a penny that hiring me probably would not make a difference. However, if they wanted to invest in me and take a chance, I would do everything I could to achieve a better than the expected result. They knew it was a long shot, but it was a long shot that paid off.

It is important to note that EVERY CASE IS FACTUALLY AND LEGALLY DIFFERENT, AND PAST PERFORMANCE DOES NOT IN ANY WAY PREDICT FUTURE RESULTS IN WHAT MAY SEEM TO BE A SIMILAR CASE. However, these results show that in many cases, it is beneficial to hire an experienced attorney. For instance, in many cases of Extreme DUI, I was able to obtain a not guilty verdict on that charge, or was able to convince the prosecutor to allow my client to plead to the DUI charge in exchange for their agreement to dismiss the Extreme DUI charge. This often resulted in serving significantly less jail time, paying substantially less in fines and assessments, and avoiding the mandatory installation of a certified ignition interlock device on their vehicle. The results I have included here only show the reduction in the jail time, and not the reduction in other consequences such as fines or license suspensions/revocations/restrictions.

DUI cases

October 2006 - Filed a Motion to Suppress that was granted and resulted in dismissal of all charges in an Extreme DUI case with a .158 breath test in Phoenix Municipal Court.
July 2006 - Received directed verdicts of acquittal (not guilty) on all DUI charges from the judge at a bench trial on DUI/Drugs case in Peoria Municipal Court.
May 2006 - Filed a Motion to Suppress which resulted in a plea to a reckless driving charge with no jail and dismissal of all DUI charges in an Extreme DUI case with a .171 blood test in Tempe Municipal Court.
April 2006 - Received not guilty verdicts from a jury on all DUI charges in an Extreme DUI case with a blood test of .197 in Peoria Municipal Court.
February 2006 - Filed a Motion to Suppress which resulted in a plea to a DUI and one day in jail and dismissal of Extreme DUI charge in a case with a .176 breath test in Phoenix Municipal Court.
December 2005 - Filed a Motion to Dismiss that was granted and resulted in dismissal of all charges in Extreme DUI case with a prior conviction in a case with a .215 breath test in West Mesa Justice Court.
December 2005 - Negotiated a plea to a DUI charge with one day in jail and dismissal of Extreme DUI charge in a case with a .200 breath test in Buckeye Municipal Court.
December 2005 - Negotiated a plea to a DUI charge with five days in jail and dismissal of Extreme DUI charge in a case with a .213 breath test in Glendale Municipal Court.
